When a postgraduate student, Jocelyn Bell Burnell the first to observe and precisely analyse radio pulsars - the apparent source of regular pulses was named LGM-1 (Little Green Men 1). She has been President of the Royal Astronomical Society and of the Institute of Physics and of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. This lovely pendant bears an inspiring quote from her: "if we assume we've arrived, we stop searching, we stop developing"
