This beautiful brooch was created using mathematical models inspired by the aggregate growth of coral and dendritic crystals, as seen in snowflakes. Stainless steel is photochemically etched into delicate forms to create wearable pieces of art. The brooch is affixed by a nickel silver pinstem and catch. With no predetermined orientation this brooch can be worn in a multitude of ways, each day creating a new unique look.

This large, bold and highly intricate brooch is designed using a mathematical model of leaf venation. The brooch is etched from a sheet of stainless steel and affixed with a nickel silver pin mechanism. Measures 80mm diameter x 0.38mm thickness.
