The world according to Buckminster Fuller. In Fuller’s 1942 "Dymaxion" projection, the earth is viewed as an icosahedron which unfolds into this beautiful shape. Originally hand-drawn by co-cartographer Shoji Sadao, in this case it has been constructed from a mosaic of satellite images from NASA.
An 'ink splash' version available as t-shirts and tote.
