1706 Europe Eclipse Cushion

On May 12th 1706 an eclipse passed across Europe from Morocco to Siberia - and Dutch cartographer Johann Homann and astronomer Johann Doppelmayr created  Europa Eclipsatae, a groundbreaking map with dotted lines showing the path of the umbra, and a list of the times of totality in various cities.

Made from super soft faux suede with canvas back.
Measures 45 x 45cm.
Machine washable at 30°C.
Cushion pad included.
