Eric Fitch Daglish (1892–1966) was a wood engraver, writer and illustrator, who became known for his illustrations of the natural world. His book Woodcuts of British Birds was published in 1925. He illustrated an edition of Gilbert White’s Natural History of Selborne and he both wrote and illustrated several books on natural history, including Birds of the British Isles, 1948. Including a variety of Daglish's ornithological engravings, this journal makes a perfect gift for bird watchers and nature lovers.
