This gorgeous jigsaw is of Chagall's Self Portrait with Seven Fingers. It was painted in 1913 when he was experimenting with cubism, but is still classic Chagall: though in Paris he is dreaming of his home town Vitebsk, and painting a Russian country scene. The seven fingers might refer to the old Yiddish saying “Mit alle zibn finger,” - "with all seven fingers", meaning to do something adroitly or well.
Puzzle measures 67.5 x 44.1 cm when complete
