Two stanzas of the 17th Century song The Goose on the Common decorate this tea towel, reminding us of the enclosures of common land - a nationwide breach of an ancient social contract which changed Britain for ever. The accompanying painting is by Antonio Montemezzo.

100% premium cotton (heavy weight, textured finish).
Stitched on all four sides. Measures approximately 48 x 73cm.
Machine wash at 40 degrees max.
We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes.
