An early, very striking jacket design for George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, by the great Dennis Piper, who designed many book covers in the 1960s and 70s. Piper worked in a variety of styles, for a number of publishing houses and his illustrations were seen beyond the book trade, featuring on posters and adverts. He was also a well respected watercolour artist.
Why not add one of our brilliant hanging kits? With magnetic clasps securing the frames together, they can easily be switched from one poster to another.
