Modular kiosks were mass produced in the former Eastern Bloc countries from the 1970s to the 1990s. With infinite practical applications, they could be found everywhere - as newspaper stands, hot-dog stalls, flower shops, car park booths, currency exchange offices, and more. Now something of an architectural relic, and fast fading from the modern urban landscape, these kiosks have been photographed in all their quirky glory and captured for posterity by David Navarro and Martyna Sobecka. A great coffee table curiosity for architecture addicts.
