Between 50-1000AD the Vikings used runic alphabets to carve simple messages into runestones which were usually left near graves. The inscription on this mug comes from one such stone and spells doom on anyone who dares to desecrate the monument - let that be a warning to anyone who steals your favourite mug: they had better handle it with care!
