Named after veterinary researcher Daniel Salmon (who was actually looking for a virus), this is the flagellant enterobacterium that famously ended the political career of British MP Edwina Currie.  Our cuddly Giant Microbes are supplied with an information sheet and a magnified image of the actual bug described (as pictured).
